We at NCW want to harness our potential and create long lasting bonds with patients and industry professionals.

We are dedicated to promoting patient wellness by providing compassionate holistic care in a safe and welcoming environment.

Maryland’s medical cannabis community/industry faces obstacles in almost every direction toward an effective and meaningful cannabis program.  No one suffers more from these barriers to success than the patients who need this medicine.  For the concept of medical cannabis to survive here, we must come together as a broad coalition to identify and prioritize patient needs. Accomplishing this goal will certainly require changes in our laws, our industry practices, and our cultural consciousness, which can only be enacted by acting collectively.

The retail store, as an institution, exists to link the supply and demand components of its industry, not just in the sense of the movement of products and capital but also the connection of a diverse populous who keep this industry going. In the context of medical cannabis, the position of the dispensary lends itself to the potential for healing, education, and most importantly collective empowerment. We at NCW want to harness our potential and rejuvenate the bonds between grower, caregiver, plant and patient. 

NCW hosts a wealth of expertise, from our ASA certified consultants to seasoned cannabis subject matter experts as well as current & former cannabis patients. Whether at the store conversing with patients, or behind the scenes connecting the pieces, we understand the healing power of cannabis and strive to share that knowledge with our community. 

On a final note we value your work and your experience with the medical cannabis community. It is our intention that just as we ask for your support, you may draw support from NCW and our resources, as we all strive to create a system that expresses the true healing potential of cannabis.  The choices we make right now will determine the trajectory of our industry and many future iterations of cannabis industries that will look to their ancestors for policy guidance. For meaningful solutions that truly build toward the longevity and legitimacy of cannabis, we must also look to our ancestors and ground our work in their wisdom. We have gathered together to embark on a social project that began with the spirit of the California Compassionate Use Act in 1996.  Let me thank you again for having the courage and the commitment to join us in this monumental effort.  We shall spearhead this movement as some of you have done by generously donating your energy, your resources, and your intellectual passions.
